Integral gas-driven compressor (hereafter refers to as integral compressor) is an equipment that is widespread used to boosting process in the oil-gas field, has lower rotational speed, higher reliability, stronger compatibility and easy to maintain and so on characteristics. Along with the people to the environmental protection request’s unceasing growth, noise controlling of the integral compressor also receives more and more attention, reduces gas engine noise by using a silencer is one of important contents. Although the national gas field Company has used integral compressor already 30 years, but still has many insufficiencies to integral compressor silencer’s noise reduction understanding, such as the mechanical structure, the acoustical property, the aerodynamic property and the corresponding assessable indexs.In order to further resolve these problems of the silencer, many important study contents for the silencer have been seted in the topic, for example the assessable index of property, the way of field test, the scheme of field test and the mechanical structure etc. These research contents are different with the procedure that only paies great attention the product design in the general research. From the silencer user’s angle embarking, it bases on the scene project maintenance test of the silencer, the design, the shaping, the experiment and the appraisal of the silencer have formed a complete closed loop.Therefore, the topic unifies the fundamental research and the field test, a technology path is pointed out that explores a set of feasible evaluating indicator and method, and uses in silencer’s field evaluation, and effective instruction for actual project. Finally, a kind of new silencer will be made to substitute the using silencer, which has better overall performance and enhances the noise reduction effect with reducing energy consumption of compressor.In view of the above duty and the goal, a union project field test method is proposed. Which operating scene test plan, gained the gas engine noise spectrum without the silencer, grasped technical positions of the using silencer, such as acoustical property and energy consumption influence, etc. All of them have been offered to participation factories for instructing a new silencer which is energy conservation and noise reduction, and the method has been showed practical and feasible by the field test. After the field test contrast, three kinds of new silencers all are higher performance, lower cost, and the synthetic quality surpasses the using silencer. The topic research assignment completes comprehensively, and achieves remarkable success.
