In recent years, due to international sulfur prices falling, and the requirements of environmental protection, refining acid with sulfur develops quickly in china. Refining acid with sulfur produces clean and dust.free gas.it is better to use fire tube boiler, but the development of Refining acid with sulfur using fire tube boiler in our country has just started for only a few years. The structure design points of fire.tube boiler are reviewed in this paper. We get suitable type for large high parameter fire tube boiler furnace by comparing and summarize the key positions of the fire tube boiler structural design.This paper mainly studied the following problems in the design of fire tube boiler. The first is flexible thin tube plate design and thermal stress analysis. We not only obtained more precise tube plate thickness has been ANSYS simulation and verification. The second is for the tube plate connections unreliable situation presents connection with expansion and welding. Thirdly, due to the larger diameter of the tube and tube sheet is thin, the tube sheet is easy to cause transformation. So the expansion pressure should be more precise calculated. We simulated Expansion process, further reducing the selection pressure Expansion range. Fourthly, determine the pipe for the temperature field, the use of software to simulate HTRI, draw temperature axially inner surface of the heat transfer tubes and non.linear distribution. The results obtained by using the HTRI software will be boiler tube thermal stress analysis and stress calculation of the temperature difference between the shell can get a more accurate result. The research of sulfuric acid fire tube boiler design can be helpful for fire tube boiler designers, manufacturers and operators.
