Metallurgical industry ball mill increasingly develops to intellectualized large-scale direction, the ball mill is one kind of very important machinery equipment in beneficiation process flow, the enterprise must invest the massive funds every year for its transformation and the maintenance, but the accident occurs from time to time, especially tube body (reel itself, tube body and flange, cover) welding place cracks frequently; Because the tube body is the main body component, it has the very important theory and the practical significance that carrying on the stress analysis to the tube body dangerous spot provides the scientific basis for the design Branch of manufacture. The analysis and study was aiming at An Shan Iron and Steel Company Group Gong Chang Ling Ore dressing plant intelligence MQY5067.In this paper, a detailed analysis for the state of the ball mill is carried on firstly, then a finite element simulation to the ball mill tube was done by using the finite element software-ANSYS according to the finite element simulation method of three-dimensional space, with its strong function of post processor, various kinds of colored atlases about stress, distortion and displacement were protracted. Analysis of some complication which was about the expand law of the crackle and the influence factors of the expansion of the crackle was made, and in order to foresee and capture the accident information and avoid accidents, the corresponding measure would be taken according to the theory basis provided by test and analysis, induction, summary, research and discussion to the experimental data of the hydrostatic bearing mill control system...
