Since 1980 s, with the rapid development of national economy and industrial production technology. The country put higher request to the safety and environmental protection of the industrial production process. The requirements of industrial production both ensure stable and high quality of the product, and as far as possible to reduce the cost. Analysis of information slightly delay or negligence will cause huge economic losses. To ensure the availability of qualified final product, the requirements for the quality control of petroleum/chemical and other industrial production gradually increases must be on the production process of monitoring and testing, real-time control of the composition, content and structure, the state and the purity of physicochemical parameters. So using the online analysis to monitor the production, processing and other industrial processes is the mainstream of the development of industrial technology in the 21 century.Since the project site of petrochemical enterprises are inevitable in the field, and the ever-changing environment throughout the year. Therefore, the engineering application of online analysis technology is used in the form of online analysis system. Online analysis system consists of sample handling systems, online analytical instruments, safety protection facilities, and other public works, it’s integrated in the analyzer house. Petroleum and chemical industry production mostly belongs to the typical of inflammable and explosive dangerous places, remains more security risks. Therefore, the online analysis system can long-term safe and stable operation, the entire safety of analyzer house plays a leading role.This paper is what the petrochemical enterprises face the explosion-proof security issues on the analyzer house. It’s based on an online analysis system renovation project of petrochemical enterprises, then deeply discusses the safety measures and gives a detailed design scheme. The primary contents include four parts: the first is the explosion proof electrical equipment selection of the analyzer house. According to the physicochemical properties and the actual situation of flammable and explosive gas, this paper combined with IEC, NEC and China National Standard for hazardous areas and different explosion-proof,complete the explosion-proof electrical equipment. Secondly, according to the results of the danger zone, design the structure, ventilation and heating, etc. of the analyzer house. Then introduce the calculation of the ventilation flow, the inner diameter of the pipe, the pressure of the air blower and the load calculating of the BHVAC system(explosion heating, ventilation and air conditioning) in detail. Thirdly, the monitoring and interlock alarm system design ofthe analyzer house. Using the SIEMENS PLC(programmable logic controller) as the core controller, design the safety monitoring and interlocking alarm of the analyzer house.Including hardware selection, installation, alarm signal type selection and alarm value setting,and according to the results of hardware selection complete the software programming,debugging and application of the PLC. Finally, tracking the application of the analyzer house.After a year of running results show that the safety performance of the analyzer house is high,and can provide a safe and stable operation environment for online analysis system.
