The Study Of Comprehensive Level Of Urbanization And Ecological Environment Based On Regional Coordinated Development In Inner Mongolia Region

With the rapid advance of global urbanization, the ecological environment has changed, and the environmental situation also gets growing concern. In recent years, socio-economic development have promoted the urbanization process in Inner Mongolia Region. We need to know the coordinated development of urbanization and ecological environment, to provide the basis for achieving sustainable development in the region. In this paper, usingStatistical Yearbook, Urban Economic Development and Social Bulletins, Quality of the Environment Bulletins and other data 2000 to 2014 Inner Mongolia as support, through literature survey and expert consultation, combined the three kinds of weighting method constructed the index system of urbanization and ecological environment. Using the comprehensive development model, the coordinated development model and the 3S technology comprehensively analyzed the coordinated development of spatial and temporal variations between urbanization and ecological environment of Inner Mongolia regions. On this basis, linear polynomial fitting was used to predictthe developmental trends in the future to 2020. The results showed that:(1) From 2000 to 2014, the Comprehensive development level of urbanization in Inner Mongolia overall emerged growth trend, but the development is still at a moderate level. Among them,2000--2004 showed a slow steady development period; 2005-2014 showed a rapid growth period. In the subsystem, the population urbanization level developedstably, and the initial contribution is highest; the contribution of economic urbanization was increasing year after year,and it trends remained consistent with the integrated urban development trend; the social and spatial urbanization performed generally. Comprehensive developmental level of ecological environment exhibited fluctuations in the rising trend, and the comprehensive level is not high. During 2000-2014, the coordinated level of urbanization and ecological environment from the level of coordination reluctantly changed into the primary coordination inlnner Mongolia, and the urbanization lag changed into the ecological environment lagon the type of development.(2)In the 12 League Citys, during 2000-2014, the comprehensive level of urbanizationhave significant differences, Erdos and Wulanchabu City were increasedobviously, and changed as V-shaped curve; Hohhot and Baotou followed, presented inclined to rise; other Union Cities weregrowing slowly at a low level, Xingan League is the lowest in the Inner Mongolia. The level of ecological environment of Wuhai City and Hohhot City is the largest fluctuations in the 12 League Cities, which overall fluctuated is most obvious during 2000-2011 years. Coordination degree of 12 League Cities as follows:Wuhai City belonged to the brink of recession offset class, Hulunbeier City and Chifeng City belonged to well-coordinated development of the class, and other League Cities are in primary coordinated development. The coordination level of each Union City were differences significantly, and strong spatial anisotropy. In 12 League Cities, urbanization retarded Citieswere more than the ecological environment retarded Cities. Compared with the promotion of the urbanization, the ecological environmental have a greater limited role for regional coordination.(3)The compare of eastern and western regions development, the level of urbanization presented a trend of west strong than east, ecological level showed the development pattern which is significantly better in the east than that in the west. The differences of coordination in west and east regionalremarkable, eastern was relatively higher than the western, eastern belonged to good development of ecological environment and urbanization retarded area, and most cities belonged to good development of urbanization and environmental retarded area in western.(4) The prediction results showed that, level of the region coordination will close to a good coordination by 2020, comprehensive level of urbanization and ecological environment will be a certain increase; the ranking result of coordinated development degree of each Union City will change, there will be more well-coordination and Excellent-coordination cities. However, the deterioration of ecological environment in Wuhai City and Alashan League is worthy of attention.
