Study On Development Path Of Urbanization And Eco-environment Coordinated In Chongqing City

Since the policy of reform and opening up to the outside world.China made a tremendous success in its urbanization.In 2011,China's urbanization rate is 51.3% which more than half of its population.It up to 56.1% in 2015.However,while the urbanization thriving and each city gets high grades in it,our urban ecological environment suffers a lot(like the growing pollution in air?water and soil).At the Central Economic Work Conference held in Dec,2015,the President Xi Jinping pointed out:” we should firmly build a people-oriented urbanized society,promoting the coordinated development between urbanization and ecological environment.” Dealing with the relationship between the urbanization and ecological environment has become one of the highlights of city's economic work in the future.As a major city in southeast China,Chongqing stepped on the road of urbanization since 2006.The urbanization rate of Chongqing thrived from 46.7% in 2006 to 60.94% with its10 year's growth rate arrived 30%.in 2015.However,its impact on ecologic environment has restricted the society and economy development at some level too.Chongqing is not only a strategic region in economy development,but also a sensitive belt of environment protection.So,the coordination between urbanization and environment is particular important.In this article,I assessed the current situation of the coordination between urbanization and environment in Chongqing by studying and using the CMD model.Besides,the SD(system dynamics)theory was applied to analyze the inner mechanism between two.At last,through researching the relationship between two under different policy path,I put out some recommendations in environment and population.The conclusion from my study:Firstly,under the help of CMD model,I found the U and E are bound together inextricably.Their relationship has experienced four periods during last 10 years: from Low coordination in urbanization lag period to Moderate coordination at urbanization lag period and then Moderate coordination in lag environment condition period last is fine coordination in lag environment condition period.Secondly,through SD(system dynamics)and Scene Simulation,I realized the development of U and E is totally different in via diverse scenes and programs.It's not good to each other if government only focus on one side.On the contrary,both sides will development coordinately if our government can balance them.Besides,developing secondary industry has an immediate effect in promoting urbanization.Nevertheless,it hurts environment more.Tougher environment protection is help.But following the growth of urbanization,the environment situation will gradually lag behind.As a result,their coordination rate will be much lower.Rather,the service industry contributes less to urbanization than secondary industry.However,it is more benefit to environment while lifting economy.
