This paper analyzed the key problems and proposed a new testing scheme that installed the tilt angle sensor on the rotating arm of machine to measure to solve the problem that existed in the field processing of 5000 to 20000 millimeters diameter circle for ensuring its plane precision. Meanwhile, we also developed a set of high-precision on-line detecting system that can speed up the large circle plane’s levehess and fatness testing based on the tool of LabVIEW. Then compared the measuring results that calculated by the developed system and laser tracker. The data is stable and correct, and it oners theoretical basis for the next process. Bebw is the detailed operation and our main contribution to the academic.(1) Design a special fixture for the tilt angle sensor. We designed a special fixture for the tilt angle sensor to ensure the stability of the measurement, it can achieve the goal of precise installing, beating and damping.In other words,make it stable to the measurement by controlling the degree of freedom of rotation toX> Yand Z axis.(2)Build the mathematical models of inclined angle and height difference. We built the mathematical models to determine the angle between the big circle’s plane and its ideal plane, the altitude difference of the two adjacent point in inner circle and also the outer and inner circles’altitude difference by collecting the data and studying the inclination angle of X and Y axis. Then taken the data into the mathematical model above with soildworks and mathematic software, we can test the validity of the data. It offers theoretical basis for the software design.(3) Design the software. The article finished the design and development of each module based on LabVIEW. Validated the height difference of data using LabVIEW isolated height difference group, in the system that has completed using the sine curve fitting based on least squares, calculated the flatness and levelness of values and show it’s diagram.(4) Experimental verification. In the test platform of the enterprise laboratory, we carried on the sensor and clamping calibration. After that, saved the sensor bias as a focal variable and installed the sensor to the circle plane of our 5-meter flange car with our clamping. The result exhibited 12 groups data and the sustainability and accuracy of the on-line system by comparing with the data from the factory which use the laser tracker.Because of the high efficiency of the Lab VIEW testing system, it’s very suitable for quality control of on-site big circle plane testing. This new system is the result of reviewing the Lab VIEW program language setting and a bold attempt to on-line plane testing.
