The Development Of Seismic Water-gel Explosives

Face increasingly complex geology, climate and other conditions, the development of seismic explosives can overcome high-explosive source imminent. Water-gel explosive is a mixture of multi-component aqueous composition, with industrial explosives stable gel systems.Water-gel explosive has a good resistance to water pressure, high density, powerful, polluting production processes, safety, etc. Water-gel explosive is competently used in water blasting.which is a promising source of explosives.This paper will develop a detonation velocity of 4000m/s or more, and burst capacity of about 500mL, explosion heat 4000kJ/kg or so of water-gel explosives for the purpose,the main study of the following aspects:(1) Based on industrial explosive formulation design theory, calculating the oxygen balance formula to draw water-gel explosive formulations. Water-gel explosives have wide range of sources of raw materials water to choose flexible design formula, and can improve their explosive performance to a certain extent by changing the water-gel explosive formula.(2) Preparing the recipe preparation medicine column, through the performance test, to test the performance of explosives. This paper explores the initial water-gel explosives production process conditions, by a simple production process for preparing water-gel explosives and water-gel explosive charge density, water resistance, compression resistance, frost resistance, detonation velocity, work capacity and other performance testing.The results show that charge density up to 1.41g.cm-3, water resistance and resistance to stress better, detonation velocity up 4932.9m/s, but frost resistance has not been significantly improved.(3) This article finally successfully developed detonation velocity of 4000m/s or more, and burst capacity of about 500mL, explosion heat 4000kJ/kg, water resistant compression, powerful water-gel explosives.its formula includes of 46% ammonium nitrate, nitric acid methylamine 30%,7.3% water,5% aluminum,10% sodium nitrate and a special additive,etc.The development of the source water-gel explosive seismic survey provides a new source of explosives, which has some practical meaning.
