As the detecting element in coal mine safety monitoring system,coal mine gas sensor which can real-time detect the concentration of various toxic and harmful gas in mine is the key part of the coal mine safety monitoring system, it’s reliability and stability is directly related to weather the safety monitoring system can judge the concentration of various toxic and harmful gas is overrun under the mine and then send the right action command to ensure that the production process safety. The gas sensitive element for gas sensor which mainly used in domestic coal mine is made by use of the electrochemical principle and thermo catalytic principle, owing to it’s inherent characteristics this kind of element always show zero drift and scale drift after use a period time, in order to overcome these problems we must correct it’s related parameter regularly. Specific requirements listed by National Regulations Of Metrology Verification and Coal Mine Safety Regulations about the coal mine sensor’s adjustment and calibration,in order to insure coal mine safety monitoring system can make a correct and timely judgment to protect the safety of operators and the safety of the state property in the first time.Based on the coal mine gas sensor working principle and calibration principle, a method based on C8051F020 single chip microcomputer as the core control device for mine gas sensor intelligent calibration system design combined with the actual needs in the process of coal production, the system consists of pneumatic control module, a gas sensor signal acquisition module, infrared adjusting module, waste gas treatment module four parts composition, the main task of the gas control module is the distribution of various standards concentration gas, automatic switching and precise control of the size of the flow during the sensor adjusting process, the main task of gas sensor signal acquisition module is collecting the mine gas senor output signal and provide feedback for closed-loop control in the process of sensor calibration, the main task of infrared adjusting module is sending various adjustment command during the adjustment process, which is a core module key to realize the automatically adjust, exhaust gas treatment module can keep the air of adjusting environment clean and realize harmless treatment, guarantee the training personnel safety in the toxic and harmful gas sensor calibration process and emission standard,based on intelligent control technology the four modules are combined together organically to realize batch intelligent adjustment to the coal mine gas sensor.At present, the system has been successfully trial-produced prototype in trial operation stage, the running results show that:the system can fully realize the closed-loop control of coal mine gas sensor of the adjustment process, while exhibiting good handling characteristics, has the advantages of adjustable high precision, strong anti-interference ability, good stability, effectively solve the poisonous and harmful gas sensor calibration test problems, provides a complete and reliable sensor performance parameters for the sensor users and verification personnel, realize the coal mine gas sensor for unattended adjustment.
