The cable and the external high pressure hose of shearers are indispensable components for electrical control system and spray dust removing system.They will be bent and squeezed,when the shearers working on the orbit.Due to the special nature of their structure and the importance for safety production of coal mine,the cable and the external high pressure hose should be protected properly.Currently,the hauling rope devices is widely used in protecting and dragging the cable and the external high pressure hose.However,from the current situation we can find that the hauling rope devices has many disadvantages.For example,failure in protection,offsetting of cable splint and different types of cable splint can not switch.They affect the production of coal mine.Therefore, in order to meet the mine mechanization,automation and fast efficient mining production,it is necessary to do some research and improvement for the hauling rope devices.After reading a lot of documents,the dissertation do some research on domestic and foreign.It will analysis the structure,working principle and installation conditions of the existing devices.Furthermore,summarized the shortcomings of the existing hauling rope devices.This paper have a study on different kind of cable splint and the structure of different cable splint.The cable splint which is arranged in cable groove can be divided into a plurality of regions.And analysis the key factor of each region.we choose the O type cable splint as the objects.And then do finite element analysis for cable splint based on ANSYS Workbench.Moreover,the bend angle between the neighboring cable splint will be calculated.The result will be as a theoretical basis for improvement.This paper analyze the construction needs of the coalface. And then,a new design of hauling rope devices will be raised.For the the telescopic arm,the stability of adjustment cylinder control systems based on different import singles will be analyzed by the software MATLAB simulink.For the rotating arm,we should have a finite element analysis on important components.For the overload protection system,The safety pin is the most important part of it.The intensity of the safety pin is the key factor in the process of protection. At last, the structure and intensity of adapter plate will be designed in detail.Link coordinate system and mathematical model will be established by D-H algorithm.The link parameters,homogeneous transformation matrix of rocker arm and the kinematic equations of rocker arm will be determined.The parameters of the kinematic equations can be solved in using of MATLAB.The simulation model of new the hauling rope devices will be established by MATLAB Robotics toolbox. The rocker arm trajectory and position relative to the shearers will displayed through the image.Calculated the changes of each joint variables with time.
