Adaptivepresetting Tool Monitoring System Research Of Internal Grinding Machine Based On LabVIEW

CNC internal grinding machine is used to grind the internal hole of workpieces. Due to the situations of serious grinding conditions, low grinding efficiency and unstable grinding quality, internal grinder manufacturers and customers urgently need the relevant research results and products.This thesis puts forward the topic “Adaptive presetting tool monitoring system research of Internal grinding machine based on LabVIEW”(This topic comes from the Zhengzhou city science and technology projects(Project number: 20130642)). Through the construction of internal grinding monitoring system and its application in internal grinder, The internal grinder has functions of adaptive tool setting, adaptive grinding, online state monitoring and so on,which improves grinding efficiency and the quality of internal grinder.The process of building an adaptive monitoring system: Firstly, use AE sensor to collect the acoustic emission signals in the grinding process then filter and analysis the acoustic emission signal by using root mean square to get the signal strengt change information in the process of grinding.Then determine the state of contact between the grinding wheel and the workpiece with method of comparing the threshold value(got by constructing threshold self learning model) and get coordinate value.Use LabVIEW to built the mathematical model for the optimization of grinding feed according to the process parameters given by the enterprise to optimize feed rate, besides control the grinding Status through feed rate.In order to complete the construction of the system, research construction technology of the system,detection method of grinding signal and the characteristics of detection signal,then develop the monitoring software.Adaptive tool monitoring system is tested in the laboratory, the tests shows that the tool setting function and monitoring functions meet the design requirements.
