Secondary vocational and technical schools as base of training practice and skilled talents, main responsibility is to train personnel with practical ability for the enterprise. Due to the particularity of chemical industry production, such as the complexity of the production conditions, the production process is often accompanied by high temperature and high pressure,inflammable and explosive, toxic unsafe factors such as corrosion, so there are some potential safety hazard. So ask them to study in school during the need to firmly grasp all kinds of basic chemical knowledge, principles of chemical engineering, understand the common hazardous and toxic, master the basic chemical and physical properties of chemical products, grasp the basic principle of basic chemical process and operation and has good safety consciousness, can be very good to protect themselves.Secondary vocational and technical school students is a special group,they are mostly the failure of the examination, or is affected by family incomplete to drag down the grades of the victims. Due to the basic knowledge of junior middle school three year relatively weak, cause they produced the inferiority and school-weary psychology. Most of the theory of secondary vocational students learning enthusiasm is not high, lack of spirit, lack of active learning motivation, learning goals are not clear, muddle along, low efficiency in study.Due to the particularity of secondary vocational students and the characteristics of the chemical industry, requires that chemical professional students must learn chemical professional course, but in the teaching of the past, students tend to appear on the theoretical study, interested in professional knowledge is difficult to continue, the basic principle of mastering the situation of the poor. Chemical industry professional courses in chemical simulation class of students, but this course are relatively independent, involved the content bias is based simulation operation.To improve students’ learning interest, hobbies in chemical industry professional knowledge and grasp of the relevant knowledge ability has an important influence on students’ employment and career. This study chemical professional required course the methanol production process as an example,the virtual simulation training system, introduced in the teaching, by comparison with parallel class and experimental class teaching, to explore the virtual simulation training system in the role of secondary vocational teaching process. Through practice and study, found that virtual simulation training system has the characteristics of be clear at a glance, easy to operate,nonpoisonous and harmless, in such aspects as principles of chemical engineering and chemical process effectively promote the students’ learning knowledge, the students’ learning interest, learning motivation, learning has played a positive role in promoting, in such aspects as other disciplines can be applied to the chemical professional and other professional.Through this project practice, the study found the virtual training simulation system of the pupil’s academic performance and that in comparative classes have significant difference between grades, at the same time, improve the students’ learning attitude and improve the students’ learning interest and achievement, secondary chemical new course teaching mode is constructed.
