Galvanized steel wire rope corrosion resistance is generally higher than smooth rope, Especially in the use of harsh environments, Galvanized steel wire rope has a longer service life. However, hot-dip galvanized steel production during the drawing process, there will be some loss of the zinc layer. Lead wire surface zinc layer thinning effect of thermal galvanized steel corrosion, affecting life.In this paper, friction and wear behavior of steel galvanized layer is studied. Analysis of load, friction velocity, concentration and temperature of the lubricating fluid galvanized steel wire layer influence of friction and wear behavior. And thus drawing process of steel galvanized layer affect the behavior of basic research. Get pass compression ratio, drawing speed, concentration and temperature of the lubricating fluid galvanized steel wire drawing layer of zinc loss during and following the proposed procedure for drawing process optimization.By studying the results of hot dip galvanized steel wire layer friction and wear testing and hot-dip galvanized steel wire drawing tests showIn the case of constant speed, With the increase of load, the wear of hot dip galvanized layer increased gradually. Lubrication conditions in hot-dip galvanized layer wear than non-lubricated conditions is small, but it must control the concentration of lubricating fluid, increasing the concentration is too high so they will wear. Studies have shown that in the concentration of 2.5% to 10.0% range, with the increase of the concentration of wear exacerbated.Lubricating fluid temperature is too high or too low will affect the performance of lubrication, Increase the wear of hot dip galvanized coating. At a temperature of 20 degrees-50 degrees Celsius, 20 degrees Celsius and 50 degrees Celsius two kinds of temperature wear is more serious. When the friction velocity is in the range of 25mm/s ~ 40mm/s, The amount of wear decreases with the increase of the friction speed, then decreases and then increases. The appropriate increase of friction velocity can decrease wear quantity,But be sure to control a good range. Friction speed too fast and too slow will lead to increased wear and tear. With the increase of drawing passes, true strain increased gradually lead to accumulate zinc loss increases gradually, In the existing drawing line and lubrication condition of certain circumstances, Cumulative zinc loss and drawing true strain exponential relationship, Hot dip galvanized steel wire drawing process in the zinc coating loss is a cumulative process accelerated damage.Drawing speed too fast or too slow will increase zinc loss. Drawing speed in the range of 360m/min ~ 180m/min, with the acceleration of the drawing speed, zinc loss gradually reduced. When the drawingspeed is more than 360m/min, the zinc loss increases with the increase of the drawing speed. In the lubricant concentration 1% ~ 3% range of synovial fluid, zinc loss decreases with increasing concentration of lubricating fluid. When the concentration of the lubricant is more than 3%, the zinc loss increases with the increase of the concentration of the lubricant. The temperature of lubricating fluid is decreased with the increase of the temperature of the lubricant in the range of 10 ~ 30. When the lubricant temperature is greater than 30, the zinc loss increases with the increase of the temperature of the lubricant.
