With the accelerating urbanization and the continuous improvement of people’s living standard, the water resource consumption of city life and production increases rapidly. At the same time,because of the water shortage and pollution in our country,the contradiction between supply and demand of the urban water resources becomes more and more serious,it has become an important factor restricting economic and social development of country.The main measures of the water shortage are building the water diversion project,exploiting the groundwater, collecting and using the rainwater and the reusing the urban water.However, the construction of water diversion project can not solve the water shortage situation fundamentally.The exploitation of the groundwater will cause a variety of geological disasters. Although, the usage of the rainwater is an effective way to achieve the rational use of urban water resource.the rainwater collection,storage and reprocessing is also a huge project.As the main purpose of municipal waste water recycling,water reuse can achieve recycling and reuse of the water resource to the maximum extent.It can not only create the second water resource of the city,but also suppress the discharge of sewage.However,there are many shortcomings in the practical application of water reuse.For example:people don’t make full use of the water resource in the city life;most of the waste water treatment equipments are under the idle state.people don’t have the consciousness to participate in water reuse projection;the market of water reuse is not fully formed. To solve the problems above, the concept of smart reuse water is put forward in our study.The system of smart reuse water can achieve the perception, analysis and processing of the reuse water resource by making full use of the technology of information and automatic control. Moreover, by using the system, the supply and demand of reuse water can be regulated, and the intelligent network of urban reuse water will be formed.In this paper, the system of urban smart reuse water is put forward on the basis of the Internet of things, big data, cloud computing, sensors and other modern communication technology. By using the technology of smart reuse water, urban reuse water resource can be regulated reasonably, and the crisis of the water resource will be relieved. In this study, the composition, characteristics and working principle of the smart reuse water system will be presented. As the object of this study, the feasibility and necessity of this system in Tianjin will be analyzed. Meanwhile, the social and environment benefits of this system will be analyzed by qualitative and quantitative method. At last, countermeasures and suggestions to guarantee the successful application of the urban smart reuse system will be proposed, and there is certain theoretical significance to the system of Water Reuse.
