Hydraulic support is the key equipment of synthetical mechanized and mechanized mining. With the development and improvement of the hydraulic technology, hydraulic technology combined with microelectronic technology, computer technology, automatic control theory and developed the hydraulic support and support technology of the key technological innovation, is the inevitable requirement of the development of the coal industry.The support pushing jacks and its hydraulic support passage system producted and designed by Zhangjiakou in aircraft hydraulic equipment Co.Ltd. has been analysed and researched. The introduction of its structure and basic control loop has been made. The hydraulic system pressure loss of the hydraulic support has been calculated. The advantages and disadvantages of three kinds of liquid supplying methods has been analysed.The key parts of the pushing jack were designed, and the intensity and stability of jack were checked by theoretical calculation. Then the solid modeling of pushing jack was established by ProENGINEER5.0 software, and import this model into ANSYS Workbench software to make finite element analysis, to verify the intensity and stability of the jack. By comparing the two results, it proved the correctness of the two analysis methods. At the same time, through the method of theoretical calculation and finite element analysis, also calculate the limit load over the jack. According to existing test bench of coal cylinder, testing performance of the pushing jack, to verify if the performance meets the requirements.This paper used the AMESim simulation software established the model of pilot check valve and safety valve, to verify the correctness of the safety valve. Then simulation model of the hosting jack control circuit was established by AMESim simulation software, got the advancing velocity and the advancing time. By adding a bypass in the place where is more pressure loss in the basic circuit, the velocity of advancing has been improved obviously.
