With the development of PC technology and expediting of digital process, CAD technology, as an indicator to measure the level of a country's scientific & technological and industrial modernization, has got increasingly extensive applications. CAD is widely used for aided design in the global top 500 enterprises. Despite many companies have developed their own CAD system for themselves, other companies and individuals to use, those system are based on PC running, with limitation of space and time, people cannot often get high-efficient, real-time experiences and applications at all times and places by using CAD system. Furthermore, companies print a large number of paper drawings, brochures, operating instructions, which not only cause a lot of waste of resources, but also cause environmental pollution and climate change every year.Based on the Shandong province 400 ft jack-up drilling platform integrated innovation project, this paper attempts to connect Mobile Internet and high-end equipment manufacturing industry closely through the lightweight system research and aims to make CAD system butting to smart mobile terminal system. Then an Internet+ marine engineering IT-based manufacturing platform is able to be created for the purpose of breaking the limitation in terms of equipment, space and time, saving and protecting the resources, realizing the harmonious development of human and society.To verify the “HGSView” system, SolidWorks and CATIA were used to create 3D outline model and detail block model of SD-400 jack-up based on the research and demand analyses of lightweight system for Marine Engineering. This data information system of marine engineering platform was designed based on the SVL lightweight technology, and was tested with lightweight data.HGSView system can provide users with a virtually mobile roaming system of large-scale marine engineering equipment with high-performance display accessible. Through smart mobile devices installed with iOS / Android system, this system can provide convenient and efficient mobile marine equipment show for companies or individuals. To some extent, this system can achieve the purpose of cost reduction, resource conservation, and can also offer a reference for further study on lightweight system.
