In the later period of oilfield development, sidetracking technology has gradually become the important means of ad improving oil recovery. And due to small sidetracking hole, there appeared some problems, such as poor quality of well cementing, short-life well, sand control and and other issues, in the process of development, which become a bottleneck restricting sidetracking and effective development.After studying technologies of sidetracking of well completion and sand control in China, according to unconsolidated sandstone reservoir characteristics and production of shengli oilfield, we carried out the particle size analysis, sand prediction and technology of sand control. Based on that, we build the optimization method of sidetracking of sand control and completion technology for unconsolidated sandstone reservoir, and developed sidetracking completion without drilling plug for 5 1/2casing tube.Finally we further developed related tools.Then we made indoor test about key tools, such as grading cementing tool, and the results showed the related tools of sidetracking technology maintain rational structure and reliable performance to meet the needs of applications in oil field.At the same time, we also developed a new type of cleaning mud cake, which can improve the efficiency of the acid pickling and fully open flow channels, improve the condition of bottom hole.This serial technology of sidetracking for unconsolidated sandstone reservoir has been applied in Shengli and Jidong oilfield for about 5 times, which become an important means of improving recovery.The implementation of this technology can effectively protect reservoir, increase formation capacity, and lowering the cost of completion and the late operations.For Shengli oilfield reservoir geological characteristics, combined withthe oilfield development present situation, we finally put forward the rationalization proposals of development of oil field sidetracking.
