Dyeing and finishing industry produces plenty of waste water, which causes serious environmental pollution. At the same time, many enterprises survive difficultly for the production costs increase year by year and the profit decline. Therefore, enterprises reduce production costs by improving the production processes and reducing the consumption of water and energy. Among them, the most effective way to improve production efficiency, water saving and energy saving is to shorten the process, avoiding equipment update. At present, numerous researches focus on the fabric short process dyeing process, most of them are exploring one bath process. The important study includes practice bleaching and dyeing one bath process of the polyester / cotton knitted fabric. Compared with the traditional two bath process, polyester cotton practice bleaching and dyeing one bath process decreases water washing, acid washing process and shorten the process of product processing. Thus, polyester cotton practice bleaching and dyeing one bath process reaches the requirements of national sustainable development because it can not only save energy, but also improve the efficiency of production,This topic is based on the research of polyester / cotton knitted fabric short dyeing process from Shanghai Tiqiao textile dyed yarn Co., Ltd. First, selecting disperse dyes which can dye under alkaline condition. Then, selecting three basic colors of disperse red SF-4BN, disperse orange SF-2G and disperse blue SF-G as dye for polyester dyeing from Zhejiang Long Sheng Group Co., Ltd.The first step is to give alkali resistance and resistance to oxygen bleaching performance test of the three basic colors. During the resisting oxygen bleaching test, disperse red SF-4BN, disperse orange SF-2G and disperse blue SF-G can meet in the hydrogen peroxide used the amount of 5-7% range to realize stable dyeing; in the dyeing process, the dye bath p H value cannot exceed 11.5.The second step is to explore the influence of the concentration of hydrogen peroxide, dye bath p H value, scouring and bleaching temperature, scouring and bleaching time and dyeing time on refining, bleaching and dyeing effect after polyester / cotton blended knitted fabrics have been degummed, bleached and dyed in one bath dyeing and compared the effects of blended fabric dyeing effect under different process conditions. Finally, using one-bath two-step process, that is, scouring and bleaching, and then adding disperse dyes to dye polyester. For the dark fabric, the best process that can achieve the production requirements of one-bath two-step method is as follows: scouring agent CBS dosage was 1.5g/l and amount of stabilizer LFD-50 0.35g/L, high-temperature leveling agent DM-2116 dosage is 0.3g/L, dye bath p H value is 10.5, concentration of hydrogen peroxide is 5-7%, which scouring and bleaching temperature of 100℃in 15 min, then add dye and heat up to 130℃ after keeping heat for 5min and dyeing time for 40 min.The third step, the scouring and bleaching has greater influence on dyeing effect for light colored woven fabric. Thus, on the basis of one bath two-step, to improve fabric whiteness with 1.0g/L drift Trane DM-1436 dosage by adding bleaching Trane DM-1436. But scouring and bleaching effect improves the fabric capillary effect, cotton fiber adsorbs more disperse dyes, resulting the color amount decreased slightly in polyester fiber. Therefore, increasing the amount of disperse dyes to meet the dyeing product requirements for color amount when using drift Trane DM-1436.To test roof breaking strength, tearing strength, color fastness to rubbing, color fastness to washing and performance after dyeing polyester / cotton blended fabric. The results show that staining samples bursting strength and tearing strength loss were controlled within 5%, the color fastness to crocking reaches level 4 or above and water washing color fastness reaches level 4 or above which can meet the requirements of customers and consumers in general. After accounting, this process can save cost nearly 4,000 yuan per month and create more profit.
