As one of the most important equipment in the oil rig hoisting system,traveling hook plays an important role in the oil and gas drilling and workover treatment process of tripping, tubing and sucker rod. For its big and complex structure, and the critical role it plays in the lifting and lowering, feed drilling, drilling pressure control and dealing with the complex down-hole accident, traveling hook has a direct effect on the performance of hoisting system. For its complex static and dynamic characteristics, it’s necessary to study the vibration and reliability of traveling hook,which have obvious influence on hoisting system.The working principle of the traveling hook and traveling block hook was discussed firstly in this thesis. Than the load transfer process was analyzed. Three dimensional solid models of traveling hook and traveling block hook were built with Solid Works to reduce the analysis deviation by mass compensation method and dding the quality of the omit parts to the main parts. The vibration and reliability of traveling block hook were obtained respectively with ANSYS software. Then dynamic characteristics of hoisting system was enhanced using multi-body system dynamics.(1)Based on the modal analysis and harmonic response analysis, resonance occurs on the body and bar of traveling hook. So we should enhance the stiffness of parts in the design and manufacturing process in order to improve the effect of vibration. So materials with high stiffness were used to avoid stress concentration and reduce resonance of the traveling hook. The vibration characteristics and dynamic response of the traveling hook has obviously effect on hoisting system.(2)Reliability analysis for pulley hook and hook body is made with PDS mode in ANSYS. Considering structure sizes, material properties of components and randomness of external loads. The reliability analysis of pulley hook and hook body has been completed with the Monte Carlo probability finite element method. The results show that the reliability analysis of pulley hook and hook body meet the working requirement and provide safety guarantee to hoisting system.(3)Dynamic model of drilling machine ZJ40/2250 DB is built to calculate the kinetic equation by simplifying the physical model of hoisting system. Finally differential equations are solved to get the displacement and velocity of the mass block when initial velocity is zero or not equal to zero.The research results show that the hoisting system has smooth movement in theworking process. But because of the influence of the steel wire rope, a dramatic impact has happened when the initial velocity is 1m/s.Traveling hook is always subjected to load in the lifting process, too much impact and dynamic load should be avoided.According to its own characteristics in the working process, dynamic analysis of the whole hoisting system was carried out to obtain vibration characteristics,reliability and force characteristics of traveling hook.The results are important to futher improvement of the hoisting system, which has a certain theoretical guiding significance to further optimization of hoisting system.
