In the recent years, the domestic rotary drilling rig achieved a rapid development. Butin comparison with the foreign products, there is still a big gap in key components. Thedevelopment of rotary drilling rig is a arduous task. Rotary drilling rig has a large power,so its energy efficiency directly affects the economy and reliability of the device, due tothe outbreak of the world’s energy crisis, energy-saving technology is valued by variousindustries. Here we make XR220D rotary drilling rig as the object of study, and do sometheoretical and experimental study whether it is match of the engine and the hydraulicsystem.The paper mainly completes the following tasks:1First clarify the research status and development trend of energy saving ondomestic and foreign rotary drilling rig. While analyze the drilling characteristics of rotarydrilling rigs.2While the rotary drilling rig’s drilling work characteristics and working principlesof dynamic systems are introduced and find out the reasons of rotary drilling rig drawenergy loss. According to the current status of research energy-saving control technology,we proposed a reasonable control strategy, which is based on speed limit load sensingcontrol, so we can get the output power of the engine power to the load required matchingpurposes.3As to the energy-saving control of the engine speed sensing control strategy, weestablish its corresponding mathematical model with using PID control algorithm. It canreduce the frequency of adjustment and prevent the heavy fluctuation of the engine speed.Use the ultimate load of the control of the pump and engine speed sensing control strategyto eliminate the engine’s power reserves, so make the engine and the hydraulic systemmatch well.4Based on the mathematical model and fuzzy control algorithm. UseMATLAB-Fuzzy toolbox to design controller. We do a simulation analysis on the fuzzyPID control system with MATLAB to prove the priority of method of the superiority offuzzy control.5Do experiment for the energy-saving control system in XR220D rotary drilling rigto verify the effectiveness of the control system.
