In recent years, the new rural construction as an important strategic objective, it is inthe "Twelfth Five-Year" period to Chongqing as "urban and rural" demonstration area, and further accelerate the new rural construction. With the rapid development of urbanand rural economy, the continuous improvement of living standards of farmers, farmers’quality of living environment has been put forward higher requirements, not only havebright and spacious, fully functional use of space, but also a comfortable indoor thermalenvironment. The new rural building has improved greatly in residential function, sanitation and indoor lighting, etc., but the building thermal environmenthas not getthecorresponding improvement. This article is based on the research framework of"Chengdu-Chongqing urban and rural areas of intensive construction of villages andtowns", research some passive measures to improve the thermal environment inChongqing new rural residential, to provide a reference for the future of new housingconstruction in rural areas. In this paper, To Yanba Bayu new homes in Longhua town Chongqing as theresearch object, using the method of field survey, theoretical analysis, simulation, discusses the technical measures to improve the thermal environment of residential.Firstly, introduces the situation of Chongqing new countryside construction, investigats the conditions, energy use and living habits of Yanba Bayu new homes. There are more than60%residential install air-conditioning in new homes,so the newrural housing design must consider the problem of energy saving.Through the thermalmeasurement of typical residential, found the indoor temperature is generally higherthan the villagers comfort requirements in hot summer weather which affected thevillagers live working. In building envelope, the highest inner surface temperature andmaximum heat dissipation is roof, so the roof is the focus of residential thermalenvironment improvement. In addition, Many villagers grow fruits and vegetables intheir houses, forming a sunshade cooling effect on the surrounding residential whichshould encourage and guide.Secondly, analysis the design factors of rural houses to improve thermalenvironment and appropriate measures to improve the Bayu new houses. Analysis thearchitectural building size, building envelope thermal performance, ventilation andshading and the use of solar energy, how impact the indoor thermal environment of rural to improve.According to the investigation of new rural residential, compared to ruralresidential energy efficiency standards found outside the window and the roof does notmeet the requirements,, and put forward the suitable for Chongqing’s climate can beboth winter insulation and solar energy utilization, summer shading and ventilationoptimizing technology.so the envelope should be standard, based on this and putforward suitable for Chongqing’s climate which can be both winter insulation and solarenergy utilization, summer shading and ventilation optimizing technology. Finally, evaluate the effectiveness to improve of the thermal environment by eachprogram of measures. The use of simulation software to calculate the indoor thermalenvironmental parameters of typical residential in winter and summer and energyconsumption during the summer heat, the use of thermal comfort index PMV comparethe thermal environment improvement before and after. The results showed that, toimprove the thermal performance of building envelope, improving indoor thermalenvironment effect is more obvious in winter than in summer, and the external greening, outside the window movable sunshade measures, the summer indoor temperatureobviously, the comfort is improved, and at high temperature, reduce the powerconsumption of12%days.
