| As required externally by the policy of new rural construction in our country, farmer concentrated residential housing is the key to solve a basket of problems in rural aiming at improving farmer's living quality. Meanwhile, the improvement of farmer's living quality triggers new requirement in terms of residential thermal comfort.In our country, energy consumption is very high resulting in shortage of energies, and the improvement of thermal comfort will normally increase the energy consumption. Nowadays, daily increasing energy consumed by farmer has drawn much attention by people. It is a very important and meaningful job as well as the core of this paper to study how to correctly utilize such technologies as building material, architecture design, summer insulating, marsh gas to supply the heat in winter etc in order to satisfy both thermal comfort of fanner concentrated residential housing and energy saving.Yancheng is the biggest municipality in JiangSu province with the second largest population. It is located in the middle-east of JiangSu province, on the verge of Yellow Sea. The agriculture in Yancheng is developed and there is a large population of farmers. Moreover, there are abundant renewable energes in Yancheng such as solar, wind, biomass and so on. Yancheng is a district being hot summer and cold winter, so if a study is set out in order to find technical solutions about how to meet requirement of thermal comfort at rural residential housing without air conditioning, would be a example to other broad districts which are hot in summer and cold in winter.Contents to be studied in this paper1. Study and develop reference values of thermal comfortableness at rural residential housing in Yancheng through investigation and existing study achievements.2. Study the material and structure of local rural houses and analyze the strengths and weakness of traditional insulation works.3. Study has been launched here on how to choose proper material for local rural residential housing and how to build sunny houses. Investigation is also given to the feasibility of using marsh gas to supply the heat in winter and the measures of using three-dimensional forestation to cool in summer.4. Take a unit of farmer rural concentrated residential housing for example and by applying above mentioned measures to conduct energy-saving optimization, and using computer software to analyze the energy-saving. At the same time, simulation analysis for heat environment is further carried out after energy-saving optimization in order to verify the thermal comfort of residential housing.The creativities of this paper:1.
