With the development of economy, population migration, the scale of the city isbigger and bigger, between the various components of city function improves, more andmore closely linked to the city’s foreign. To solve the increasing city residents traveldemand and transportation supply ability insufficient contradiction, the city in recentyears emerged in a traffic hub complex large amounts of highly intensive, especially onthe city’s highway passenger traffic hub in the traditional long distance busstation(referred to as the highway passenger transport hub).Highway passenger transport hub is a bridge and link between variety of modes oftransportation, the internal traffic and intercity traffic of the city, which is to implementtraffic continuity between different direction and different modes of transportation. Asthe transfer link of various traffic patterns in time and space integration, the major effectof urban external passenger transport hub is connecting the cities to the areas around thecities, when it is inconvenience in rail and air transportation.The research object of this thesis is the traffic organization optimization design ofhighway passenger transportation hub. The traffic organization is one of the core designof city’s highway passenger transfer hub, passenger flow of all kinds of collection,conversion in hub. Traffic organization design includes interior space in high efficiency,convenience, guidance, comfort, safety and complex utilization of sexual needs,rational organization of each functional space, straighten out the different between thepassenger transfer flow, enhancing transport hub transfer efficiency, improve the qualityof passenger travel. And the optimization of interior space environment, andcomfortable ride travel to create more economic benefits in the passenger.In most cities of our country, highway passenger transport hub always serve thesmall and medium-sized cities, where the tourism industry is relatively developed andthe amount of migrant workers is large and students come to the cities to studyfrequently. After these new highway passenger transport hubs provide services to thecitizens, people’s satisfaction, the convenience of station traffic organization, the traffictransfer efficiency, and how to improve the existing shortcomings and so on, are socialconcern and discussion. Therefore, it is necessary to evaluate the passenger transporthub completely.In the second chapter of this paper, the author has made clear that the object of thisstudy is the traffic organization in the station space of highway passenger transport hub. Traffic flow organization is one of the core design when designing a highway passengertransport hub. All kinds of traffic flow collect and transform in the hub. Trafficorganization design is to research the demand of the flows at the aspect of highefficiency, convenience, guidance, comfort, security and commercial, and organizefunction reasonably, straighten out the transfer between different traffic flow, improvethe efficiency and the space quality. At the same time, optimize the internal spaceenvironment, which is aimed to create more economic benefits when passengerstransfer.In this paper, the author has used the post occupancy evaluation (POE), which hasbeen widely used in the world. In the third chapter the author points out that the POEtheory researches the existing architectural space strictly from the user’s point of view,focusing on building the user’s demand, the design’s success or failure and theperformance of the building. To use the POE we should firstly understand the objectsand determining the evaluation contents and goals. Secondly, with the methods ofdocument data, questionnaire survey, interview and observation, we should analysis thedata from the aspect of qualitative and quantitative. Finally, we should arrange theevaluation results and extend it. In the fourth chapter, the author has used the POE.According to the main influence factors of passengers flows organization in the hubmentioned above, the author has made a complete comprehensive evaluation indexsystem.In the fifth chapter, the author has made a2months research of Sigongli hub basedon the use of evaluation (POE).Firstly, with the help of the scientific theory, the authormade a systematic fieldwork of Sigongli hub. And specific focus on the passenger floworganization, we hope it can help us to improve the transfer efficiency and optimize thepurpose of station traffic organization through the method of optimizing the traffic flow,improving the quality of the environment and insuring the security. With the analytichierarchy process (ahp), a mathematical method, the author analyses data rationally toensure that the evaluation result is scientific and objective. At last, according to theevaluation results of passenger flow organization, the author puts forward thecorresponding optimization design strategy.At last, after the POE of the passenger flow organization of Sigongli hub, theauthor puts forward some suggestions on the traffic organization optimization design.
