Typical structure design is an important content of the tooling design processes of aircraft.According to the enterprise requirements, rapid design technology is applied in aircraft tooling des ignand rapid design module for typical structures of aircraft tooling is developed in this paper. The maincontents are summarized as follows:1) The structure features of aircraft assembly jig are analyzed and the wireframes are stored,managed and added according to group technology. The parametric design for aircraft assembly jig isstudied to reduce design costs and avoid duplication errors.2) Support structures in aircraft assembly jig are analyzed and concluded. Support structurelibrary is built and parametric design method for supports is studied based on the support structurelibrary. The preliminary positioning technology of supports in aircraft jig is studied. Assemblyfeatures can be obtained and constrained automatically according to programs. Support preliminarypositioning in assembly jig is realized.3) The current structural styles and design methods for composite material components areanalyzed and parametric design scheme is selected. The rapid design module for composite materialcomponents is developed. The rapid design for templates can be realized through relevant parameterinput.
