Standard Parts/Components Library Of Tools For Composites And Its Rapid Assembly Design

With the development of CAD/CAM technology, the design environment of tools for composite materials is the same as aircraft's. So the key of improving the efficiency and quality of assembly design and reducing the repetition of work are using standard parts or components during tool design and rapid assembly of standard parts. And the rapid processing drawing is very important to tool rapid design too.Based on the study of the technology and implementation of standard parts and components library,a C/S mode framework based on CATIA is given in this paper. Standard parts and components molding boards are building first, and then the instantiation of standard parts and components is implemented using parameter design method. The library is managed by SQL Server data base.Based on the study of constraint types and features in assembly design and part automatic assembly technology, some assembly features are added to the binder parts, and the rapid assembly design of binder parts is implemented.This paper studies the tool feature model, and geometry and non-geometry information are integrated on the model. The automatic building of heading and part list, rapid adding of technical requirements and annotation are implemented, too.
