The research object of this article is the application of permanent magnet synchronousmotor in frequency conversion air conding. This research intends to combine magnetic circuitanalytical method and finite element analysis method.We hope that no matter in what frequency, the motor can keep high efficiency in a widerange of torque, and the premise is to reduce the motor torque ripple and electromagneticnoise as far as possible.First uses the method of magnetic circuit to determine the basic structure of the motorsize, permanent magnet slot location, the number of rotor pole and so on. Then use themethod of finite element analysis to optimize the stator tooth width, the width of teeth, Thesize of the rotor magnetic slot insulation and so on.Use the method of uneven air gap, Makes the air gap flux density and back emfwaveform is sine, analysis the harmonic levels of back emf, research the influence of hugelow hamonics to the motor’s noise and vibration. At the same time, confirm the situation ofpermanent magnet demagnetization in use process.This paper based on the motor design and prototype production, compare the differencebetween theoretical design value and the actual test value of the motor performance, at thesame time, compare the performance of variable frequency air conditioner compressor andair-condition to verify whether the motor meet the engineering need or not.
