In our country, the area of the loess is widely distributed. The construction of increasingdepth in the loess area is rapidly developed with each passing day. For reasons of the nature ofthe loess, it has resulted in a number of present engineering diseases, especially characterizedby the stability of the subgrade strength. The necessary to study the related properties of theloess along the direction of the depth is urgent and objective.The loess is a quaternary deposits, characterized by alternating Loess-paleosolsequences in a typical profile. The loess has been widely applied in subgrade in loess area.California bearing ratio is important to the selection in design of packing and targetcharacterization of local deformation of soil resistance capacity.After a field investigation, this article eventually selected the Shijiazhuang villageloess profile, and stratigraphic units are divided based on sampling and relevant experimentalanalysis studies.By detailed descriptions of cross-section formation, this article summarizes the physicalcharacteristics of each stratum at a macro-level; In the physical indicators of the each stratum,the dry density generally increases getting down along the profile depth direction and the voidratio decreases in the overall trend, and this article supports conclusions by various physicalproperties variation along the depth of profile curves.By using California bearing ratio test to study the nature of the works and exploring theCBR value of deformation characteristics along the profile direction and pattern, the articleuses scientific analysis of experimental data, and the mapping of columnar diagram, by theirvalues in the depth.This article uses California bearing ratio test to study the nature of the works andexplores CBR value of deformation characteristics along the profile direction. In the otherhand, the article research on the experimental data scientifically with the mapping of diagram.We summary that their values in the depth direction overall have larger trends and other related conclusions. And section of Renjiapo plateau CBR data analysis summarizes thedifferences and similarities between the two regions. Our aim is to provide reference andguidance for the regional application of the engineering properties of loess.By the California bearing ratio test, the article studies on the impact of compactness andsaturation time through the data characteristics, and comes to the relevant conclusions.
