Study On Car Terminal And GPS Navigation Systems Based On Vehicle Networking

Car terminal and GPS navigation systems based on vehicle Networking,through the useof advanced vehicle networking technology, GPS satellite positioning technology, GISgeographic information technology, CAN bus technology, GPRS wireless communicationtechnology,embedded technology, Internet technology,and so on, the monitoring center canmonitor the running status of the vehicle, make effective scheduling of vehicles,and improvethe operation efficiency of the car; the driver can view the current details of the vehiclethrough LCD screen of the system, and maintain the vehicle reasonably.Firstly, this paper analyzed the development status at home and abroad of car terminaland GPS navigation systems based on vehicle Networking and the significance ofdevelopping this system, presented the overall design of this system, and introduced the keytechnologies briefly.Secondly, this article designed the hardware platform for this system,especially the design of the power supply module, CAN module and GPS modulecircuit.Using the software of Platform Builder5.0customized operating system and ported itto the development board.Using EVC++software developped system applications, includinginformation collection program of CAN module and GPS navigation module, and associateddrivers program. Finally, conducted the appropriate test, summarized thesis work, pointed outthe shortcomings of this system, and made recommendations for further development of thesystem.
