In recent years, the car ownership of Chinese in large and medium-sized cities beinglarger and larger; however, the relative lack of public parking stall and the contradiction ofparking has become a prominent problem of the urban planning management. In order tosolve the problem of parking tensions, some urban planning demand that the new citycommercial complex and residential areas set up a multi-storey car park and stereo parkingspaces. However, the present parking systems for domestic operators using manualmanagement of the parking stall, the problems existing in the multi-storey car park are alsoexposed. Such as the diver don’t sure the layer with empty parking stall, managers can notcollect the number of free parking spaces and orientation information timely and accurately,the managers can not effectively treat the parking guidance and scheduling. In order to solvethe above problems, this paper put forward a parking location guidance system, solved theproblem of asymmetric parking information for large underground parking, so drivers canfind the remaining parking information of each layer easily and parking quickly and easily.This paper designs a multi-layered underground parking location guidance system, whichbase on three levels of underground parking lot. This system consists of upper database undercomputer control center, the center controller, a hierarchical controller and the total entry andLED dot matrix display screen of each entry. The system hardware consists of vehicledetection conversion circuit, the multistage array type LED display driver circuit, and LEDdot matrix display screen, System controller through dial the code switch is to select thecenter controller or hierarchical controller, the control room at the center of the maincontroller by means of RS-485to communicate with each layer of points controller, at thesame time provide Ethernet front-end ports communication, effectively avoid thereconstruction of the network. The system software includes upper computer system softwaredesign and lower computer system software design; upper computer software realize thefunction of parking place plot amount initialization, real time monitoring detection the amount of parking plot and other functions. Lower computer software realize the function ofLED Lattice screen driver, serial deriver and Ethernet driver etc; realize some function ofLED screen display, detection of the signal of traffic, the communication of the master-slavecontroller and master controller between upper computer。Through series of strict system test, and the results show that the system can fast andaccurately test the signal of vehicles in and out, after the detecting, some parking informationcan be transmitted to the LED screen display, it is convenient for the driver to choose properparking space quickly. The whole system design is reasonable, high reliability, ease ofinstallation, and high for use value.
