Building a integrated CAPP system based on MBD has very important practicalsignificance on3D digital design and manufacturing integration.Whether mannfacturingactivites of PLM can realize based on MBD technology or not,it’s largely depends on thelevel of integrated CAPP system application.Because of the CAPP stystem is connected toCAD stystem and CAM stystem, How to realize the3D information integration and theprocess integration about CAD/CAPP/CAM system based on MBD,which is the key issuesabout CAPP system development and application.This paper detailed analysis the general situation of integrated CAPP developmentbased on MBD,aiming the general problem of the process design integrstion.The issue ofintegrated design and manufacting based on MBD is put forward.Cobined with the engineenterprise requirements,develop a integrated CAPP system framework based on MBD.Thechief contents and researching results of this paper as follows:The way of information integration is put forward by using3D process model inUG,after analysis of the feature of design and manufacture about the enterprise technologybased on MBD. Process information integration model is achieved,The way of processdesign named “features process group” is going to design the MBD3D model becomeprocess model. realize the connection between information effective.Tt is also ensure thehigh effectiveness about the information integration. The process design methodsimplements the3D expression about process information,and solved the difficult problem ofinformation integration about CAD/CAPP/CAM system based on MBD.The process design and manufacturing process of enterprise involoves a lot of processresource data information and product information.How to realize the information sharingand management and using this information to process design is the urgent problem byCAPP system.According to the current mainstream technology based on WEB.In thispaper,the web technology,the database technology and XML technology are using to buildthe information management platform.The information management platform is embeddedin the integrated process design system,which can effectively improve the informationsharing between enterprises management.Through analysis the general way of digital three-dimensional process modelgeneration.Point out the problems about positive and reverse to generated the processmodel.The reverse way of automatically generate process model is gived after combinedwith the three-dimensional expression about process information on this paper.Reverse principle and solving is presented of process model generation. The expatiation of concreterealization process and key technology about the reverse process model generated.Todivided the feature classification information of manrine Diesel engine parts,bulid themapping relation between feature-technics information and feature modeling operation,andthe3D process model generating tool by auxiliary is developed.Based on the above research results,develop a three-dimensional integrated CAPPprototype system in marine Diesel engine parts based on MBD. The feasibility of thismehod was verified though by marine Diesel engine parts.
