The research about stone was only limited on the form of masonry or physical performance in the past, the building materials about the building elevation in Jiageng is hard to be studied specially. Thus, it’s really indeed of researching relevant aspect about this tast project presently.According to the comprehensive survey about the modern building elevation in Jiageng, Amoy, this article analysises the modern brick combination in Jiageng and the diachronic connection with the troditional masonry skill in Minnan and summerize the characteristic of brick combination in Jiageng uterioly from the masonry materials, masonry craft, combination type and other ways to get the enlightenment from the troditional brick combination, the result of the research will be used for society to provide the favorable evidence of the design and function of the modern building.The article is devided into4parts. The first part(introduction) explains the background dessertation, research status, the historical stages and the meaning of the research content, research methods and the framework. The second part (chapter2) is the basic material survey before analysis, including the example and the survey of the whole example. the third part (chapter3-5) is the selective part to analysis the cases, According to the collating and analysis about the survey to research the main characteristics and service condition of the modern building elevation and brick combination in Jiageng, Amoy. In chapter3, it researches the brick elevation combination of Qunxian, Jiannan and Furong building groups as topics to analysis the brick combination in Jiageng University, Amoy.
