The Research Of Jiageng Style Architecture In Xiamen

The thesis does research on the Jiageng style architecture in the campuses of Xiamen University and Jimei school. Based on the research on all Mr. Chen jiageng's life, the definition , type, the building process of Jiageng style architecture and the history and culture background of South Fujian province, the thesis introduces the general development .and the main architecture character of Jiageng style architecture in Xiamen. It analyses the general character of Jiageng style architecture in Xiamen from following sides: the relation between architecture and environment, the influence of Chinese traditional culture and architectural culture of South Fujian province and its appraising scale on utility, economy and beauty. At last, the thesis analyses its building tenet and building idea based on humanism that is the real meaning of the study on Jiageng style architecture.
