Harmonic gear reducer, which has advantages of small backlash and bigsingle reduction ratio, is an important component in solar panels and other spacegear drive mechanism. Technical indexes of the harmonic gear reducer includestransmission error and mechanical efficiency, which are affected by many factors, which acquire analysis of the test and running-in results. This paper describes thedesign and implement of control system of test analysis and running-in ofharmonic gear reducer. This paper first discusses the overall structure of the harmonic gear reducerdesign, gives the functional description and performance of each component, andselected models of electronic components. On this basis, this paper gives thedesign and implementation. Then we focus on the harmonic gear reducer testalgorithms and PC software design.Gear is one of the most widely used transmission systems. Its performanceindexes, including transmission error and mechanical efficiency as the mostimportant, now face increasing demands. In the aspect of the transmissionaccuracy, this paper proposes a method which uses the circular grating to test thetransmission accuracy, as while, math processing is adopted to observe the factorsof transmission error. Mechanical efficiency of the harmonic gear reducer in thepast tend to be determined by theoretical calculations, this paper proposes aexperimental methods which is the combination of machine control, dataacquisition and computer processing. This thesis proposed a control mode based on the finite state machine for thedesign of the PC control software. This control mode can improve the real-timeresponse ability of data and the modularity.
