As the future construction and development of Tianjin Binhai new area CBD in thekey areas, the backward infrastructure construction and the increasing traffic volume andtraffic demand growing, especially the contradiction between and across the river trafficdemand, has become an urgent problem in the development of Binhai new area as awhole.In this paper, based on the overall planning of Tianjin Binhai new area from2005to2020, and planning about the present situation of Binhai new area CBD traffic areanalyzed; Four phases method was adopted to construct a simple traffic gravity model,morning and evening peak time of motor vehicle across the river traffic demand analysisand forecasting, the result shows that by planning to eight new river channels combinedwith the reconstruction of existing crossing facilities, can meet according to simplegravity model forecast in2020of220000people in the area of single direction across theriver at peak demand; Through the comparison across a river channel construction formand scale, puts forward the Binhai new area center business district planning area andtemporal Suggestions on the construction of the haihe river channel; After saturation andservice levels, the haihe river channel construction scheduling, can ensure that eachchannel in the prediction period are reaching a higher level of service.
