Highway engineering feasibility study is indispensable to highway project construction content,which is the key link to the highway construction standards and the rationality of the scale selection.The basic procedures of the highway construction generally include the planning,the feasibility study,the survey design,the construction and management and maintenance in China.The traffic volume forecast and traffic capacity analysis of highway is an important content of project feasibility study.The results will affect the selection of technical standards and the control of construction scale directly.The highway from Li Pu to Yulin is an important trunk in highway network planning in Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region.Based on the survey route corridor belt along the corridor,this paper collected and analyzed the related data of economic society and transportation in the direct and indirect impact area of the proposed highway and carryed out the traffic flow and traffic origin destination survey at the same time.Based on the acquisition of basic data,this paper analyzed the traffic flow characteristic indexes and the problems of the related road,which established foundation for the traffic demand forecasting and traffic capacity analysis.Based on understanding of the economic and social development trend and law of the affected area,included Nanning,Guilin,Wuzhou,Guigang,Yulin and the relevant district,this paper completed the economic and social indicators forecast using regression analysis method.On the basis of analyzing the results of GDP and population forecast,the reasonable development elastic coefficient was determined,the traffic demand was completed based on the traffic data,the related parameter's confirmation was based on the practical road and the Trans CAD software,the induced traffic volume and the distribution and assignment of the traffic were completed.Then the forecast values of traffic volume of each characteristic year were obtained.The traffic demands forecasting of the proposed new road is one of the important basis of road technology standard.In the analysis of factors of highway technical standard and proposed ideas on the basis of the draft in accordance with the order of elements,in accordance with the relevant requirements of the calculation and analysis,the initial development of the technical standard of the project and the main technical indicators was drawn up.After that,the analysis of the highway capacity method and applicability was carried out.The paper chose macro conversion coefficient method to calculate and analyse basic road traffic capacity of the proposed highway,then analyzed and validated the elements of technology standard selected value.The statistical clustering analysis method was used to ensure the service efficiency of the proposed highway on the basis of calculation and analysis of capacity.Using multiple basic sections of 4 route schemes as cluster objects,the index factors which can fully reflect the level of road service was selected to establish the index set and constructed cluster evaluation model.The results were compared with the ones worked out by traditional analysis method,which was used to verify the scientific nature and rationality of the proposed service level clustering analysis method.
