Hydraulic motor is an important hydraulics component, which is widely used inhydraulic system of marine machinery. Hydraulic motor repair is an important part of thedaily work of the ship maintenance enterprises, and motor performance testing is a criticalstep to ensure the quality of motor repair. However at present, most test system in practicalapplication are designed for specific models of hydraulic motor, resulting in the applicablescope limited. Since the marine hydraulic motors have various models and structural,those systems cannot meet the test requirements. Therefore, research on general-purposetest system of marine hydraulic motor has important practical significance.Focus on realizing general testing for marine hydraulic motor, key parts of the system,such as hydraulic drive system, loading system, mounting system,measurement andcontrol system, were studied in detail, and test software was developed based on softwareLabVIEW, which provided an effective platform for motor maintenance and test.Firstly, the advantages, disadvantages and application range of common loadingmethods and speed control methods were analyzed. Combining with the characteristics ofmarine hydraulic motor parameters, the eddy current dynamometer loading method andthe volumetric speed control method were selected, the main components were calculatedand chosen as well, completing the engineering designs of hydraulic system and loadingsystem.Secondly, a kind of mounting structure applicable to varieties models, specificationand dimension of motor was proposed. By using the software ANSYS Workbench, thefinite element model of structure was established, and the finite element analysis andstructure optimization design were carried out. At the same time, the method of finiteelement analysis for series mounting structure was exploded, and auxiliary drawingsoftware for structure part was wrote.Finally, it was analyzed detailedly the structure and function of measurement andcontrol system hardware, carried on the design and selection for the main hardware. Thetesting software was developed based on the LabVIEW, modular design of the software, preparation of main function and interface design were investigated as well. At the last,based on the test platform field experimentations of the hydraulic motor performancetesting was conducted to test the system and software development effects, laying afoundation for practical application of the marine hydraulic motor test system.
