The electromagnetic compatibility issues on pure electric vehicle have become increasinglyprominent, if these issues were not addressed properly, it will make the travel security of the pureelectric vehicle and even the personal safety of the occupants under great threat. As a core of the pureelectric vehicle, the power system is also the key factor of the electromagnetic compatibility on thepure electric vehicle. Therefore, the analysis and assessment of the power system electromagneticcompatibility are worthy of discussion and in-depth research. In this paper, it took the power systemon pure electric vehicle as the object of study, had made a research on electromagnetic compatibilitymodeling and analysis of its main sources of the electromagnetic interference and the ways to improvethe power system electromagnetic compatibility were explored; On this basis, the electromagneticcompatibility assessment indicators of the power system were established, and the electromagneticcompatibility on power system was evaluated. The main research contents are as follows:(1) Power system electromagnetic environment analysis, mainly include: analysis on potentialsources of electromagnetic interference in the power system electromagnetic environment, analysis onthe electromagnetic interference mechanism as well as the propagation of electromagneticinterference coupling path of the sources. Thus it defined that the key factors to the power systemelectromagnetic compatibility were motor, power converter and harness.(2) It took motor and power converter of the key equipments in the power system as the object ofstudy, Simulation models of the electromagnetic interference for motor and power converter wereestablished, and their electromagnetic interference Characteristics were analyzed. On this basis, powersystem electromagnetic immunity measures were discussed: shielding effectiveness modeling analysisfor the motor housing, and insertion loss modeling analysis for the converter filter. Thereby, theradiated electromagnetic interference of the motor and the conduction electromagnetic interference ofthe power converter were reduced, and the electromagnetic compatibility of the power system wasimproved.(3) Based on the transmission line model, aiming at the power system electromagneticcompatibility key factor for harness, the simulation model of electromagnetic interference on wiringharness was established. And the correctness of the model was verified by contrasting the intensity ofthe electromagnetic interference between bare emission line and shielded emission line. Then thenear-end and the far-end voltage frequency response characteristics of the receiving wire in different shields and harness layout have been studied. It provides a reference to improve the harness crosstalkproblems for the engineering, and a basis to improve the power system electromagnetic compatibility.(4) It assigned the overall performance of the power system electromagnetic compatibilityrequirements to the parts and equipment, or some other local, so the electromagnetic compatibilityindicators of the motor, power converter and harness were researched, then the relativelycomprehensive electromagnetic compatibility evaluate indicators of pure electric vehicle powersystem has been established. To quantified the indicators, aiming at the different types of the evaluateindicators, different quantified methods were introduced. Then the order relations has been chosen forthe evaluate method, and the electromagnetic compatibility of several layout options on pure electricvehicle power system were evaluated. It obtained the result that the electromagnetic compatibilitypros and cons sort of each layout, which made its electromagnetic compatibility can be evaluated.In summary, by analyzing and researching on the key factors of the pure electric vehicle powersystem electromagnetic compatibility, and comprehensive the evaluation indicators of the differentfactors performance, so a power system electromagnetic compatibility comprehensive evaluatemethod had been established. This comprehensive evaluate method not only can play the role ofevaluating the power system electromagnetic compatibility, but also can provides a reference to thepure electric vehicle power system electromagnetic compatibility design. The research and analysis ofthis paper can be used as a pure electric vehicle power system electromagnetic compatibilitytheoretical analysis and engineering application reference.
