The Design Of A UAV Measurement And Control Ground Detection System

The detection of the UAV measurement and control equipment is one of the key factors toguarantee UAV flight safety before take-off. The traditional UAV ground comprehensive detectionsystem is basically the detection of airborne equipment，while the detection of ground equipment isnot involved. In the trial process of a UAV development, there is an urgent need to develop a detectionsystem to determine whether the UAV ground station is in good working station.Firstly,the paper briefly introduced the subject background, current research situation,and someknowledge of UAV measurement and control subsystem and detection system. Secondly, according tothe characteristics of a UAV ground measurement and control system, the paper present system designscheme.Then, it present the hardware and software implement process of all system modules. Finally,the paper summarized the main work, and pointed out the improvements in the next step.The UAV measurement and control ground station detection system mainly includes powersupply module, telecontrol detection module, telemetry detection module,interface conversionmodule,compute, detection software and interface components necessary to connect the variousmodules.The system uses modules similar to airborne telecontrol receiver unit and airborne telemetrytransmitter unit, simplifing development process, shortening development time; uses USB interfacebetween interface conversion module and compute,convenient and high reliability;uses C#languageto exploit software and solve important problems, such as serial port communication,telecontrolcommands receiving and timed playback, telemetry datas timing sending, datas preservation. In thispaper, we particularly detailed the system main modules and detection software design and debugging.Aiming at the problem of telecontrol commands transmission error in debugging process, combinedwith telecontrol commands and transmission characteristics, the paper also analyzed commonly usedseveral telecontrol channel coding.A UAV measurement and control ground station detection system developed in this subject hasbeen applied in a measurement and control experiment, it is simple in structure, easy to use, operatingagile, low cost, etc., and it also has useful reference for other detection devices.
