The board is mainly used for aircraft part shape inspection at present in domestic. The inspectionapproach based on analog is unable to meet the requirements of modern aircraft manufacture onaccuracy and efficiency. It needs to develop toward digital inspection. In order to resolve theaforementioned problems, in this paper, a metrology approach which plans inspection in CATIA, andmeasures with laser radar by communication document is used. An aircraft part shape automaticmeasurement is realized. An aircraft part shape digital inspection planning software is developed.The main content of the thesis can be divided into the following five aspects:(1) An inspection method for aircraft part shape base on laser radar is studied. The measuringprinciple of laser radar is elaborated. The range of application for measuring mode of laser radar inaircraft part shape inspection is analyzed. A algorithm of coordinate system transformation is studied.Measuring basis is established.(2) Aircraft part shape inspection feature is constructed. A approach for extracting inspectionfeature based on CATIA which encodes inspection feature and compiles a communication documentof general measurement software is used. An automatic extracting method for contour feature and amanual extracting method for surface feature based on the name of inspection feature are proposed.(3) A position planning method of laser radar which determines basic positions by effectivemeasurement range of laser radar, and additional positions by interference detection simulation inCATIAis constructed.(4) A rectangle-combined method based on curvature for measuring path planning is proposedbased on the theory of measuring plan of a given free surface. Different measurement parameters areset in different rectangles by curvature. The inspection path planning for aircraft part shape based onlaser radar is achieved.(5) The framework and operation process of the digital inspection planning system for aircraftpart shape are established. The above-mentioned key techniques are applied to the building process ofsystem, thus the entire system based on the CATIAV5R18platform is constructed.
