With China·s social and economic development the construction of seience andtechnology innovation and progress high-level,large-scale,comprehensive huilding more andmore.In order to meet the requirements of construction space shape tall,spacious,comfortableto use,more the pursuit of large space building visual permeability compared with theprevious somstruction,with the modernization of technology,lare scale construction,other nonstandardization etc..Due to the usr of function,building performance of new construction oflarge space exhibition constandtly updated,the application of new technology,newmaterials,fire sagety design of them such as safety of fire compartment,evacuation,fireprotection,the main strcture of active fire facilities,the total building area and fire fighting,hasexceeded the scope of regulation code for design of traditionalμprescriptiveμfire,become animportant problem ofr designers and fire supervision personnel.The development of new largespace building is an irreversible trend,we need to consider is to adap the development at thesome time,how to develop th design method still can ensure its secutrity.It is generally considered that building fire safety goals,considering the fireitself,development and spread of the basic law,combined with the practical experienceaccumulated in the fire,the fire risk comprehensive analysis and calculation of the buildingand internal combustible,analysis and qualitative analysis and probability of fire scene,useengineering tools,methods and performance has been accepted criteria,in accordance with thefire fire safety objective quantitative evaluation on the preliminary design,so as to determinethe fire protection design of buildings.Based on the example of large space building fire protection deign project-InernationalConvenjtion and Exhibition Center project,using the design method of performance based firesafety design,determine the total target,targetand criterion,through the hot fire hazards,fireanalysis of large space buildings release rate and fire trowth curve to determine the firescenario simulation,using the FDS fire dynamics simulation software,Pathfinder large spaceof complex building evacuation simulation software of security personnel evacuationtime,case study of smoke movement and spread,the radiation heat flux is simulated,andthrough quantitative analysis and evaluation of large space building evacuationfacilities,smoke control facilities,fire district fire and steel fireproof performance,fireprotection design in order to optimize the scheme of large space buildings.
