The Research And Design Of Small RV Trailer Based On China’s National Conditions

With the sustainable development of our society and economy, people’s lifestyles andconsumer psychology have undergone tremendous changes, the development direction ofstructure of tourism industry will be diversity, China will enter in leisure travel and tourismexperience as the main form of tourism stage. As an important carrier of leisure tourism andexperience tourism, RV enter the China market relatively short time and relatively slow paceof development, RV is mainly imported from Europe and the United States and the price ishigh, RV development in China has been a wide range of restrictions. With the private cars inour country’s rapid increase in the rate of vehicle growth and continuous improvement oftransportation conditions, the government has increased support for RV camping policy, RVtrailer usher in a new period of development. I have done some research about thedevelopment advantages of RV in our country, RV development trend in China, the product inthe current market analysis, the target consumer groups. In the part of market research, thepaper analyzes the market existing products combined with China’s actual conditions on thetrailer RV, and get the RV trailer smaller and lighter direction results. The project was basedon the Austa Ltd. product development process, starting from the target consumer groups, theaim of the project is to design a small RV trailer to meet the China’s national conditions.In the specific design project, the design output includes RV exterior design, front andrear mold reference drawings of RV, RV chassis design, RV wall and roof design as well asthe RV interior layout design. According to the project plan and project positioningrequirements, divergence on conceptual scheme, after the company’s internal review to getpreliminary scheme, when the preliminary scheme was determined, built digital models toprovide reference for manual open mold; RV chassis design was optimized based on thecompany’s proven chassis. The RV interior layout design based on functions were dividedinto the living area, kitchen and bathroom area, these three areas were arranged unifiedaccording to the functional requirements.In the analysis of the internal behavior, using SAMMIE human analysis software to simulatethe RV interior behavior analysis. Built digital model of human body in the SAMMIEsoftware according to Chinese human data. RV interior was compartmentalized into living area, kitchen area and bathroom area by function. It analyzed two aspects of reach andcomfort of these three areas, finally, occupied the analysis result and provided improvingsuggestions.
