Steel frame and steel frame filled with shear wall reflect two endpoints of the changes ofthe structural stiffness. The increase of stiffness is mutation. Steel frame filled with steel deepbeams can meet the requirements of two endpoints and can achieve a wide range of stiffnessgradient amplitude modulation. Steel deep beams have the same placement with shear wallsin frame structure. By changing width of the deep beam, we could have different resistance tolateral displacement stiffness to meet stiffness requirements. By using different steel,thickness, stiffening ribs, we could have different strength, ductility and energy dissipationcapacity. Thought the set of stiffening ribs the outside surface deformation will bereduced.And the bearing capacity will be improved. Steel plate bears the lateral load whileframed column bears the vertical load. In addition, when lateral load or seismic force act onsteel frame filled with shear wall, they are under bending and shearing deformation. They aredifferent from shear walls which are under pure shearing deformation. These features helpdeveloping plastic property as well as increasing the ductility and energy-intensive capacity.Steel deep beams are flexible layout and they are easy to the aisle and window layout. Theycan be used to the new structure also they can be used for structural reinforcement. So theyhave theoretical research value and broad application foreground.Firstly, analyzing the study actualities about the deep beam around the world, thedevelopment and the behavior of steel deep beams are introduced. Based on this, to analysisthe flexural property of deep beam.Come up with the formula of unstiffened deep beam andthe constraint coefficients and restraint coefficients of three kinds of deep beams.Next,linearity is introduced in the contact analysis by finite element software ANSYS toprecisely simulate the work process of the steel frame filled with shear wall. The ratio,thickness and intensity of the steel plates, the form of stiffening ribs,which affect theperformance of the deep beam are analyzed to some extent.
