Road traffic information service system is an important part of the IntelligentTransportation System, as well as a necessary requirement and development tendency inbuilding the modern transportation system. Design of the road traffic information servicesystem framework is an important foundation for the whole system. It is playing a crucial rolein integrating data warehouses of the transportation department, reducing traffic jams andimproving transportation quality. Present project titled “Road Traffic Information ServiceFrame Systems and Key Technologies” is sponsored by the Shaanxi TransportationDepartment. The objective is to design a frame for the road traffic information service system.All the work mainly includes four parts as following:(1) Based on analysis of study at home and abroad on the road traffic information servicesystem, the thesis proposed a blueprint for frame of the Shaanxi Road Traffic InformationService System, including design goals, service objectives, technical frame, security designand so on.(2) Analyzed demands for the Shaanxi Road Traffic Information Service using the SWOTmethod and built a SWOT model for the Shaanxi Road Traffic Information Service System,which provides theoretical grounds for building the framework.(3) Conducted an analysis of traffic information resources related to Shaanxi Provinceand proposed a technical framework suitable for Shaanxi Road Information Service System.The framework is consisted of four modules including information collection, informationprocessing, information release and information communication.(4) Accomplished security design of the Shaanxi Road Traffic Information System,including system authorization, access security, system data security, system infrastructuresecurity and system security management.The results show that the framework for Shaanxi Traffic Information Service System isreasonable and can efficiently collect, process and release traffic information, with a guidingsignificance for future construction of the Shaanxi Road Traffic Information Service ComplexPlatform.
