University library building as a learning college teachers and students, it notonly is the cradle of training talents, and it is the best choice of the borrowed booksand reading learning college teachers and students. Modern teachers and students inthe college library indoor thermal environment comfort have higher request,architects in the design process should pay more attention to the indoor thermalenvironment design, the architect will come through the dynamic analysis of energyconsumption evaluation, analysis and control of the university library building energyconsumption.Xiamen overseas Chinese university campus library building as the mostfrequently used in the xiamen overseas Chinese university campus and peoplegathered one of the largest number of public buildings, the summer air conditioningcooling energy consumption in xiamen overseas Chinese university campus occupiescertain proportion in total energy consumption. Therefore, reduce the xiamenoverseas Chinese university campus library building cooling energy consumption canreduce the energy consumption of xiamen overseas Chinese university campus.This paper aimed at the special geographical position and climate characteristicsin xiamen, xiamen overseas Chinese university campus library for the special case ofindoor thermal environment is measured and its energy consumption simulationresearch. Investigation of this library interior space, facade, tables and chairs, booksarrangement, traffic statistics, the actual condition of equipment and energy use, andmeasured the indoor thermal environment related data and analysis of the measureddata. Finally use the DeST-c energy consumption simulation software of xiamenoverseas Chinese university campus library energy consumption simulation andenergy consumption simulation of the optimized scheme, comparing with the resultsof two simulation analysis, it is concluded that the optimization of xiamen overseasChinese university campus library of indoor thermal environment.
