The high precision aerostatic dual-axis turntable is a simulation and testingequipment, which can be used to adjust the testing status of mapping cameras. Thefeatures of the large vacuum testing table are as follows: high load-bearing, highpositioning accuracy, eccentric load and so on. According to the technique data of thetesting table, the author accomplished the integrated design of high precision turntable’sstructure, as well as detailed research and design of automatic trim system and pressurefeed air bearing. The static analysis, dynamic analysis and optimization design based onfinite element method are accomplished to achieve the accuracy of the table and make amore reasonable designing proposal which can offer guidance to the similar product.Firstly, after the analysis and settlement of three design difficulties: highload-bearing, high positioning accuracy and eccentric load, the structural design of theair flotation table is completed, which included the following: the design of bearingcomponents and set of axes, the choice of driving methods and automatic trim system.Secondly, the design of aerostatic thrust bearing and aerostatic journal bearing iscompleted. Analyze the mathematical model and physical model of aerostatic bearing todetermine the integrate structure, material and manufacturing process of the aerostaticbearing used in pitch axle and azimuth axle. Apply engineering algorithm tocalculate the bearing capacity, static rigidity and air consumption of aerostatic thrustbearing and aerostatic journal bearing.Thirdly, verification test is carried out after the design of the automatic trim system.This thesis detailed stated the theory and computational formula of automatic trimsystem. Verification test is completed to verify the feasibility of automatic trim theoryand the correctness of computational formula.Finally, this paper applied finite element method to analyze static and dynamicproperty of the turntable and achieve the optimization design. Static analysis anddynamics simulation are applied to verify the rationality of the turntable’s rationality.The author used two optimal means to analysis the pedestal of air flotation turntable.The topology optimization of the pedestal would revel which part of pedestal can beremoved. The target driving optimization of the pedestal can reveal the effect that thevariation of thickness have on the deformation of pedestal. This thesis picked up theoptimization design which achieved the minimum quality of the turntable under thepremise of requirement of rigidity.
