Linear reciprocating vibrating screen is widely used in the classification of agri-cultural products, but the efficiency of vibration screen in the market is so low that it can’t satisfy the requirement of modern agriculture. So the research on the screening performance of linear reciprocating vibration screen is very necessary. Researching the influence factors of the screening of vibration screen before the prototype is pro-duced, using virtual prototyping technology, it can improve the efficiency of product development and reducing the cost effectively.In this thesis, the linear reciprocating vibration screen is used as the study ob-ject, and based on the ADAMS software, the application of virtual prototyping tech-nology in material screening is discussed, the main contents including:1. The development of vibration screening machinery and screening theory do-mestic and external is summarized, and the research background and significance of the research topic is expounded, at the same time, the research contents of this paper is pointed out.2. In this thesis, the work principle of linear reciprocating vibrating screen is stated in detail, and the virtual prototype model of vibrating screen is built, which is parameterized on the basis of analyzing of the main factors(screen angle, vibrating di-rection angle, the length of the crank, the crank speed) which affect the screening. The particle size of granular material is used as the breakthrough point, the collision model of single particle is established in ADAMS, and five kinds of single particles of differ-ent sizes are designed. The uniform design experiment scheme is built to research the relationship between the screen time of different size particles and influence factors using the quadratic polynomial stepwise regression analysis of DPS data processing so-ftware. According to the the results, the law of influence of factors on different size particles’screening is explored. At the same time, best factors combination of each size particle is gained by optimizing. 3. Using material layer thickness as the breakthrough point, and considering the influence of material thickness on screening, three kinds of material layer thickness are designed, and multi particles contact model is established. According to the simulation results based on uniform design scheme, the relationship between the particle percen-tage which passed the screen and influence factors is analyzed using the quadratic po-lynomial stepwise regression analysis of DPS data processing software. According to the results, the law of influence of factors on different thickness multi particles’ screening is explored.4. On the condition of same opening rate, the screening performance of different screen with T style, U style and Z style screen hole arrangement mode are researched, using permeation rate and dispersion measure index as the judgment standard.Through the study of this subject, it can provide a valuable reference to the study of screen, the choice of parameters of vibration screen and the design and improvement of vibration screen.
