With the main network automation gradually becomes mature, distribution automation pilot is also in a gradual transition from the previous to the current promotion phase. Since the state has not introduced corresponding data model standard, situations are different in various places. But with the gradual promotion of the IEC61970standard in Chinese power industry, unified data model becomes an inevitable trend. Uniform data standard has laid a solid foundation to the advanced application software of distribution network based on the analysis of these online and offline data. This paper will design and implement a data platform of smart distribution grid advanced application software based on this standard.This data platform uses the three-layer architecture:the data storage layer, the data access layer and the business logic layer. According to the high requirement of real time and fast processing speed for some data, the data storage layer adds the FastDB main memory database based on the Oracle database, using two-database hybrid storage mode and making full use of the speed advantage of main memory database to improve the performance of data plat form. In order to facilitate the exchange of the data and model between different manufacturer’s EMS systems, the data in this platform data is fully compliant with IEC61970standard Common Information Model. The data access layer builds on top of the data storage layer and encapsulates the basic operation of data storage layer to provide a common service interface to internal and external data platform for data accessing. Based on the individual needs of advanced application modules, the business logic layer achieves a variety of basic data analysis and processing, including XML file parsing, topological analysis, partition decoupling load distribution, case data backup, recovery and reload function, greatly improving the stability and flexibility of data loading platform.The data platform is of good compatibility, scalability and high stability, and provides a user-friendly service interface to access all the advanced application modules After extensive testing and long time running online, it proves that the data platform has achieved the desired goal. It will further optimize the performance and perfect the data platform in the future.
