In recent years, the circulating fluidized bed boiler is widely used around the world with a rapid development. Although circulating fluidized bed boilers possess advantages such as suitability for types of coal, high combustion efficiency, low pollution as well as good performance of control, the abrasion of furnace heating surface is very severity, which impacts the safe and economic operation of unit. Therefore, the research on anti-abrasion technology of heating surface has been an important issue in circulating fluidized bed boilers.According to the operational characteristics of XX-480/13.7-535/535-M3circulating fluidized bed boiler of one power plant in Inner Mongolia, the thesis analyze the abrasion mechanism and reason of different location abrasion and study the use of coal and ash wear characteristics. A preliminary analysis about the thickness measurement of abrasion has been made with combining the heating surface arrangement and operation of this circulating fluidized bed boiler. A number of measures are proposed and implemented after analyzing the actual situation and the abrasion reasons. And the thesis has a comparative analysis about the boiler heating surface wear before and after using these measures. Result is indicated that the measures has well resolved the serious problem of furnace heating surfaces abrasion, realized the stability operation of the boiler, whose economy and social benefits are notable.
