Nowadays, the Construction Emphasis of intelligent power network is concentrated on the digitized transformation, scilicet is the intelligent transformation. With the fast development of technology, such as, new type of electronic transformer, communication and intelligent circuit breaker etc., it lays a good foundation for the intelligent transformation of the power network. In this paper, it analyzes by taking the intelligent transformation of the35-110kV transformer substation as the research object, this paper. Firstly, it introduces research status at home and abroad of the intelligent substation, and summarizes the intelligent substation status of Xianyang branch company. Secondly, it analyzes the structural characteristics, technical features and new technology application situation of the intelligent substation. It introduces the advantages of intelligent substation from many aspects, such as system reliability, scalability, interoperability and condition-based maintenance. Lastly, it gives out relevant solutions according to intelligent transformation of the35-110kV transformer substation. It designs the practicality and generality of the digital scheme from four aspects:station level, bay level, process level and networking mode, and gives the corresponding solution project. It simply analyses the network security protection and clock functions of the substation. It also further studies the existing primary connecting mode and secondly network structure of Tingkou substation, and brings up the general scheme for intelligent transformation.This paper mainly through the analysis present stage intelligent substation, the present situation and the future development direction, in view of conventional substation of Xianyang Branch of Shaanxi Local Power (Group) Co., Ltd. at the present stage of conventional substation transformation model has been successfully applied, discusses the general plan for the present stage Xianyang Branch of conventional substation intelligent transformation. Provides a effective way through discussing the development scheme of the substation belongs to Xianyang Branch in future several years about intelligent substation, to lay a good foundation for the intelligent transformation of the present situations at a wide range in the future.
