Power grid dispatching automation system can make the dispatching personnel can timely understand the grid real-time running status of each substation monitoring real-time load, the economic operation of power grid and power grid failure can make corresponding countermeasures in a timely manner, to ensure normal operation of power grid security, economic, reliable, studies the application of power grid dispatching automation system is of important engineering practical valueIn this paper, based on the grid current situation analysis of operation and management of the automation system and in combination with the practical situation of regional power grid operation, load forecasting and power flow calculation is studied mainly in the application of the system. In load forecasting, the first of several load forecasting method of existing comparative analysis, and then choose the suitable for load forecasting method in the region. First of all, according to the environmental factors of local power grid, will the weather in quantitative classification, and then by using linear regression method to outline the general trend and the load of orders of magnitude, and finally by using neural network for error correction, the conclusion. Compared with other methods, this method is more suitable for the region, and the error of the whole is after load forecast precision is high. In power flow calculation, the method of gauss-seidel, Newton-Ralph monson flow algorithm, fast decoupling algorithm (PQ decomposition method) of three kinds of commonly used method for power flow calculation are compared and the advantages and disadvantages. Combined with practical work the Newton-Ralph monson flow algorithm is improved, the first P-Q decomposition method is used to conduct the initial iteration, and then transferred to Newton-Ralph method solving the trend. It can also to determine the number of iterations based on the structure characteristics of demand and power grid. It has very high practical value.
